REGISTRATION ISSUES
Q. Why do I keep getting the following error message: Your Registration information was incorrect?
A. This message will only appear for one of two reasons. Either you typed in an incorrect Registration Code or last 4 number of your social security. Both of these must match what is in our system. Most likely it is just a mistyping of your Registration Code, which you should have received in the mail. Try typing the letter 'O' instead of a zero and vise versus, if there is one in your code. Make sure the lowercase 'L' isn't a numeric one '1'. These problems are the most common. If this does not work, email us HERE and include your name, the registration code you were mailed and the last 4 digits of your social security number, so we can compare these to our records.
Q. Why do I keep getting the following error message: This email address has already been registered?
A. This message means that the email address you are trying to use is already being used by another member. Email addresses must be unique therefore an email address can only be used for one AME member. Members cannot share email addresses. If you need an email address, you can obtain a free one from Yahoo, Google or Hotmail.
Q. Why do I keep getting the following error message: You have already registered?
A. This message means that your account is showing up as already registered. You may see this message if you click the register button more than once, or, if you experienced some sort of error during regisrtation, such as temporarily losing your internet connection or trying to register while the database was being updated. If you did experience an error or delay, it is very possible that your registration went through successfully but you were not redirected to the success page. Check your email for your Login Password. You may have already received it. If you did not already register, contact us HERE and include your full name, Registration Code and email address and we will look into the issue.
Q. I have Registered online but have not yet received my password. What do I do?
A. There are a couple of reasons why this may occur. The first thing you should try is the Forget Password feature. If you registered successfully, this feature will send you your password.
For those of you who use email spam protection, to ensure that you receive your AME emails, please add the email address given to you during the registration process to your Allowed Senders list. It could be that your spam filters are either blocking the email or deleting the email.
Also, if you happened to type in your email address incorrectly, a common occurance, you of course will not get the email. If you don't receive your password within an hour after registering, try using the Forget Password feature. If you get an error message, then you most likely misspelled your email address during regisrtaion. Contact us HERE and include your full name, Registration Code and email address so that we can research the issue.

Q. Why do I keep getting the following error message: Your login information was incorrect?
A. The reason for this is that either the email address or password doesn't match what's in our system. Please double check that your spelling is correct. If this is your first time logging in, please re-read the password in your email. Make sure the letter 'O' isn't a zero or that the lowercase 'L' isn't a number one. This is the most common mistake to cause this error message. Your best bet would be to copy the password right out of the email and paste it into the password field. Then immediately change your password in your My Account page to something easier to remember. If you're still having problems after trying this, contact us HERE and include your full name, Password and email address so that we can research the issue.
Q. How do I obtain my password in order to login?
A. Your password will automatically be sent to you at the email address you enter when you register online. Accessing the AME Members Only section for the first time is a 4-Step process. First, look for your Registration Code in the postal mail. Next, you must register online using a valid, unique email address and the Registration Code. Go HERE and enter your Registration Code, the last 4 digits of your social security number and your email address twice. Click the register button. If all of the information you entered was correct, you will receive an email containing your Login Password, usually within 5 minutes, at the email address you entered. Now for the next step, logging in for the first time. Take the password you were sent via email and enter both your email and this password in the Log In section found on every page of the AME website. This will log you in to the Members Only section. At this point it is recommended that you immediately change your password to something easier to type and to remember. That's it! Now here's a quick overview of what we've discussed above, on how to register & log in for the first time:
- Look for your Registration Code in the postal mail.
- Register online HERE with the Registration Code & a unique email address.
- Check your registered email address for your new password.
- Login on any page at www.scame.org and immediately change your password.
