Details on the Passing of Senator Brian X. Foley's Father

I regret to inform you that former Suffolk County Legislator of 18 years, John J. Foley, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009. John J. Foley is the father of Senator Brian X. Foley. Mr. Foley was a staunch supporter of all workers especially Suffolk County employees, and it is only fitting that this true friend of Labor closed his eyes on Labor Day.
To show our appreciation for a wonderful man, I am requesting that all AME members who would like to pay their respects, join AME on Friday, September 11, 2009 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
Viewing/Wake will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and Friday, September 11, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at:
